TechX 2020

RTechX Congress is the Eastern Indian Techno-Management Leadership Summit hosted by the IEEE computer society SYP MGAB in collaboration with two of India’s premier IEEE student chapters - Jadavpur University and NIT Durgapur, where it assimilates all IEEE student members, professionals and student chapters associated with the society. The goal of this congress is to create awareness about the technological advancement in the world along with creating cultural and technological exchange of ideologies in turn making a step ahead in progress and moulding minds of young students to become the best innovators of the next generation. This includes lectures by reputed researchers and innovators to guide the audience and share their experiences along with bringing bright young minds to light.

ML Accelerator Summit

Machine Learning has a huge impact on society and industry. It has extensive application in almost all sectors like medicine, finance etc reducing the processing time and removing the chances of error. The main focus of the summit was to make the beginners acquainted with the fundamentals of Machine Learning and also to allow the exchange of ideas between students and ML specialists from industry, thus providing a unique platform to present and discuss ideas related to ML. Talks by ML specialists provide participants with exposure to the latest innovations in ML and inspire them to think about ideas of their own. The workshop allowed the exchange of ideas and knowledge among students and inspired them to collaborate with one another to implement projects for the greater benefit of the society which is obviously a far- reaching effect of this summit.

Rewired 1.0

Rewired 1.0 conducted by the IEEE Jadavpur University Student Branch was a Hands-on workshop mainly focused to attract students to learn about the intricacies of Electronics. It was mainly focused to attract students to learn Electronics and understand the practical aspects of it. Though a very complicated topic, students and enthusiasts got to learn how to design Printed Circuit Boards(PCBs) from our teammates experienced in designing Electronic circuits. This event was not only a good learning experience for beginners but was also fun for them. They designed their first-ever Electronic circuit.

Think. AI

Think AI, organiz ed by IEEE Computer Society Student Chapter, sought to provide exposure in fields of Machine Learning and AI, through interactive sessions with speakers and hands- on implementation of Machine Learning algorithms. We received immense support from names like Intel and Xelpmoc which helped in bridging the gap between the student and professional community.
